Anonymous producer Orphan is the latest artist to deliver a cassette via the fledgling Kaleidoscope tape label, ran by equally mysterious producer patten. After the tape sold out in a reported 10 minutes—taking into consideration the fact that there were only six copies made, albeit all from seperate performances tracked live to cassette—patten’s imprint has decided to offer Orphan’s Retakes EP (artwork above) as a free download. “Most of Missing” is one of five cuts originally housed on the tape, its soft harp plucks and gorgeous assemblage of synths making it a particularly inviting preview for the rest of the effort.
