A few weeks ago, XLR8R posted the stream of Lovers’ Rights’ self-titled EP (artwork above) as part of our Press Play feature series, and today, we’re pleased to be able to offer an exclusive new version of EP cut “Motivate” for free download. The “Late Night Edit” of the track by the Glasgow-based production trio—which counts Dam Mantle and members of Silk Cut and Golden Teacher in its ranks—renders the original track’s pulsating, textured house ice-cold, paring things back and deploying some particularly chilly dub-techno scratches. The Lovers’ Rights EP will be released on both vinyl and digital formats on April 29 via Glasgow label High Sheen.
