Whether the names behind British duo 2nd Sun are already well established or not (the outfit’s bio claims they are), the music on offer is certainly of a high quality. “Never Knew” infuses a clap-heavy rhythm with warbling synths, sunny melodies, and sticky, garage-tinged vocals, making it an enjoyably dancefloor-ready prospect from the outset. Though no official release is planned for “Never Knew,” the pair has upcoming EPs in the works for UK-based labels Purp & Soul and Well Rounded.
