Following the release of his recent Pretty Eyes EP for the Bosconi label, Italian producer Riccio has cooked up a fun, percussive disco edit to give away just in time for summer. Filling an aimless seven-and-a-half minutes, “Power Station” sees Riccio turning to phased hi-hat rhythms, hand-played percussion, and a Liquid Liquid-indebted bassline to keep his track grooving forward. Peppered with hi-pitched synths and chopped horns, the track is unconcerned with exactly where its going, instead making its intoxicating, sun-kissed sway its only real focus. In addition to offering up this freebie, Riccio has also sent through a full stream of his recent outing—featuring a remix from in-demand Detroit resident Andrés—which can be heard after the jump.
