Dublin-based production pair Lakker has shared this aptly titled track from the upcoming Deathmask EP. “Preset NUMB” finds the duo manically brooding over distorted techno, with various bleeps and blips appearing as the tune hovers over glacial soundscapes, the entire affair somewhat reminiscent of Autechre’s space-age sound design. The Deathmask EP is slotted for a vinyl and digital release the second week of April via the LoveLove imprint. Meanwhile, Lakker is also currently prepping a vinyl-only release of its Coal Bath EP (artwork above) for the Candela Rising label, which will feature a remix by UK producer DJ Skirt.
