RAUM‘s debut LP, Wreck The Bloodline, dropped on September 14 via Clan Destine Records.

The album delivered a set of six tense industrial soundscapes woven together with psychedelic atmospheres, rippling textures, warped rhythms, and samples that feel like they crawl under your skin. The hard-to-define tracks relay the message in the album’s title and its central concept of “wild hybridization and crossbreeding.” Conjuring haunting imagery and foreboding emotions, the album pulls from a diverse array of inspirations, from novels to “exploitation films, the gloomy and nonsensical sense of humor of the Dadaists, Hindu cosmogony, and Perennialist concepts.” With Wreck The Bloodline, RAUM has created a compelling, affecting, and, at times, frightening body of work.
