Over the past few years, west coast DJ-producer Sepehr has successfully solidified his place in the Bay Area house and techno scene with his tough, potent sound. Ahead of his forthcoming debut 12″ on the Detroit house label Black Catalogue, he has most recently dropped a new EP titled No More Soul, the first in a set of series of self-released EPs that will be forthcoming from Sepehr in 2016.
To help usher in the first release of this forthcoming series, Sepehr has graciously offered up the track “Ego Trip” as today’s XLR8R download. Jumping in with a resilient four-on-the-floor beat and a variety of echoing vocal hits, the capricious, sparse and somewhat off-kilter synth arrangement is further complimented by the robust, washed chords that bring this uncompromising dancefloor track such success.
