Seattle-based producer 214 (a.k.a. J. Alvarez, Chris Roman) is gearing up to drop his latest record, called Submanouvers, on October 14 via Clone sub-label Frustrated Funk. Though “Sidewalk Talk” won’t be featured on that release, it perfectly encapsulates the kind of tense, acid- and electro-leaning sounds Roman is keen to produce (as you’ve likely heard on his previous tunes), and will undoubtedly offer on his upcoming four-track EP.
