Co-founder of LA label The Melt, Moiety has developed a zero gravity vibe in his cavernous tunes over the course of his brief music career. Kicking off the New Year, the producer has elected to share “Slip,” a fresh cut which slinks along with a slushy groove. A rigid snare snaps in clusters as claps congeal into the pattern and icy tones ring over the percussion. The track’s hollowed-out midsection finds Moiety introducing a jittery bass which circles the driving rimshots, unwinding “Slip” into a muted and pressurized conclusion.
