Yesterday saw the release of Landfall, the latest EP from New York’s Prism House. As a teaser, the experimental duo has provided “Soft Spot,” a chaotic piece that strikes a paradoxically meditative tone in its jumble of cut-up melodic samples, assembly line rhythms, and disembodied voices. In other words, its three-and-a-half minutes offer a perfect introduction to the outfit’s increasingly avant-garde take on electronic music. Out now, the pair’s latest record is available to stream in full after the jump.
