Gagarin (the moniker of Graham “Dids“ Dowdall, an established underground percussionist whose work has paired him with the likes of Nico, John Cale, and Pere Ubu) recently released a single of reworks for his track “Third Rail” on his own Geo imprint. Here, we have London resident Bass Clef‘s (pictured above) take on the tune, which ups the tempo a bit and wrangles the meandering atmospheres of the original into a more precise bass-music package. The Third Rail Remixes digital single is out now with Gagarin’s own dense reworking of the tune serving as the b-side.
