London-based imprint Granholme is set to drop its third release this month, a four-track EP from British ex-pat Kloke, who currently makes his home in Australia. This remix from Polish boy-girl production duo Sentel will not appear on that Granholme release, but does make for an excellent sampling of the squishy four-on-the-floor bass music that Kolke has to offer on Circuit Theory (artwork above). Sentel’s version of “To the Rescue” is sparse and unusual, with a bouncing tech-house rhythm that churns along behind a wash of synth pads and weirdly warped stabs similar to those in Julio Bashmore’s excellent “Battle for Middle You.” Look for Kloke’s new EP to drop on June 25.
