Milwaukee’s Andy Petr is poised to drop his debut EP, Obsession, via Mixpak, and has offered up one of the tracks as a free download. “Yesterday” deals in distinctly mechanical sounds, from laser-like zaps to the heavily modified vocal sample, which sometimes sounds nearly indistinguishable from the sighing synth breaths. Petr, a “young producer not yet of legal drinking age,” will officially release the seven cuts that make up the Obsession EP on July 10.
