It’s news we hoped we’d never have to report here at XLR8R, but after Mark McGuireannounced that he was leaving the group only a few weeks back, word has come that the cosmic sound adventurers of Emeralds have disbanded, cancelling all of their tour dates in the process. Taking to his Twitter account, Steve Hauschlidt officially announced the band’s end. “After much thought, I too have decided to leave Emeralds for personal reasons. The band is now over and all tour dates are cancelled,” tweeted the Cleveland artist. He later added, “I have dedicated my life to music and will continue to develop my work as a solo artist from here on out.
