Drum & bass pioneer Roni Size has announced plans to release a new LP, his first since 2004, next month. Entitled Take Kontrol, the forthcoming album will appear via Size’s newly launched Mansion Sounds label. Set to drop on August 25, the record will be available as a 16-track CD as well as in an expanded digital form, which will present Take Kontrol as a 25-track collection and a DJ mix. Furthermore, the album will be preceded by the Size Matters EP, a six-track affair from the veteran producer that will drop on August 18.

Said to offer “dancefloor cuts for the heads,” a full tracklist and artwork for Take Kontrol are still yet to surface. In the meantime, Mixmag’s premiere of album cut “Made in Korea” can be streamed in full below. (via Resident Advisor)
