Darkside—the collaboration between Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington—has announced the project will go on hiatus following a final performance in Brooklyn next month. Without much explanation, the outfit posted online yesterday that “Darkside is coming to an end, for now. On September 12th, we will be playing our last show at Brooklyn Masonic Temple.” In addition to the brief announcement, the pair also shared two previously unheard b-side cuts from its Psychic LP, which dropped in October of last year. Titled “Gone Too Soon,” and “What They Say,” those b-sides can be streamed in full below.
Darkside’s last show has already sold out, but Jaar and Harrington still have a number of live dates scheduled before the project’s final performance, the full list of which has been included below.
