Influential LA artist Steven Ellison (a.k.a. Flying Lotus) has shared a music video for his soulful dirge “Coronus, the Terminator,” which was a highlight from last year’s You’re Dead! LP. Directed by Young Replicant (a.k.a. Alex Takacs), the visuals follow a dying man who is visited by three ghosts, including Ellison himself. Previously, Takacs has created work for the likes of Bonobo, Baths, and M83.

Describing the piece, Ellison says, “For me, ‘Coronus’ is one of the most important moments on You’re Dead!, and holds ideas I’m planning to explore in my future work. I’m happy that the visual encapsulates the meaning of the record and this ambition.” Flying Lotus’ new video can be watched in full below.
