Mister Saturday Night has been a little quiet on the releases front of late, with its last outing having been more than six months ago now. In early May the redoubtable New York party-starters (and former XLR8R podcast contributors) will return to the fold twice over with same-day releases from longtime label associate Gunnar Haslam, and Nebraska, who is new to the label but has previously released on Rush Hour and Delusions of Grandeur, among others. Haslam’s three-track Margareten EP is heady, night-drive fare, while Nebraska’s Stand Your Ground four-tracker pulls together jazz and disco influences.
