Ever since we first heard her name tied to a pathelogical production coming out on Sandwell District, Rrose has been the alias that continues to deliver us spirialing techno clues that keep bringing us back to the scene of the crime. Recently, she delivered a rework of “Having Never Written a Note for Percussion” by American composer James Tenney, a 20 minute long experimental hypno-therapy session played on a hand crafted gong, taking the sounds all the way from their quietest point to their loudest and back again.

After appearing at Mutek 2015 in Montreal, and at a Stroboscopic Artefacts label night in Barcelona in June, Rrose returns to her strictly solo release label (with the exception of Bob Ostertag), EAUX, with a pair of records titled For Aquantice, and Vanishing Pools. For Aquantice is pressed on a limited run of white vinyl for the first 500 copies, and was featured on the recent Berghain 07 release compiled by Function. Vanishing Pools will be available in late August and will be an extended 5 track single 12″ EP. Sort of a mini-LP if you will. Keep an eye out on Juno for Vanishing Pools in their upcoming releases.

Rrose will reside in the UK starting in the fall, and she already has some high-profile appearances lined up in Europe for the next few months.
