In preparation for their North American Tour this fall, Sam Griesemer (aka Samo Sound Boy) and Jerome Potter (aka Jerome LOL), who make up the Los Angeles-based duo DJ Dodger Stadium (DJDS), have been hard at work preparing remixes to songs they love in order to give their fans some fresh live material.

The Body High duo first heard the track “Why Can’t We Live Together” by the classic r&b/soul artist Timmy Thomas while watching the eerie PBS documentary “Jonestown: The Life and Death of The People’s Temple.” Claiming that the song was “used to an incredible and haunting effect in that film,” DJDS took the track and added their trademark colossal sound that is both fluent and persistent. The vocals and message fit in with the DJDS aesthetic perfectly, presenting an overture of love and faith that can be uplifting and uncanny at the same time.

You can listen to the track below and download the song by heading here.
