Sony Reveals PS-HX500 Turntable
Panasonic isn't the only company rolling out a new turntable in 2016.
Yesterday, Technics unveiled details of its new SL-1200G turntable, which will hit markets near the close of 2016. But Panasonic isn’t the only company capitalizing on the rapidly expanding turntable market—as Resident Advisor reports, Sony is also rolling out its new PS-HX500 hi-fi turntable, which will allow users to convert analog recordings into WAVs or Sony’s own DSD audio format. The announcement came at the International Consumer Electronics trade show, and while full details (including price) have yet to be revealed, the PS-HX500 is expected to arrive sometime in the spring.
