Gerard Hanson (a.k.a. Convextion) has announced his first new record as E.R.P. since 2013, which will be out in April.

Hanson is the Dallas-based artist behind electro project E.R.P. and the more techno-oriented Convextion, amongst others. Having been pretty quiet over the past few years (excluding a release on Lance DeSardi’s Legwork imprint as T/O/L), he has now announced his next release will come on German Solar One Music. Ancient Light will also come with a remix from label mainstays The Exaltics. It comes just after the news that he will also feature in the Semantica Records ten year anniversary release series.

The imprint explains that the record is “the second part of Solar One Music’s Hubble telescope Series,” which also features music by Drexciya’s Gerald Donald, both as Heinrich Mueller and Rudolf Klorzeiger.
