Vera and Alexandra have revealed the details of the first release their Melliflow brand will put out—an EP by Luca Cara (a.k.a. Spacetravel), due out later this year.

Berliners will already be familiar with Melliflow, following a couple of years of parties under the same name at local institutions Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse. Today the duo have announced the launch of a label under the same name.

Melliflow’s first release is by Italian producer Spacetravel, also based in Berlin. We tipped him as one of our Best New Artists of 2015, after a release on Binh’s Time Passages, and regular appearances on the decks around the city. Time To Wake Up continues in a similar vein to last year’s release—spaced-out, minimal beats, and funky basslines that blur the lines between house and techno.
