donaufestival has shared the details of the acts billed for two weekends of music and arts, taking place at various venues across the Austrian city of Krems this April and May.

The first weekend (commencing April 29) opens with Dabke musician Omar Souleyman, who is joined by Jamal Moss as Hieroglyphic Being, R.P. Boo, and Hatsune Miko (a 3D character developed by Laurel Halo and a team of visual artists). The weekend rolls on with Fatima Al QadiriShackleton and Kode9, as well as Scottish post-rock act Mogwai, who provide a live soundtrack to a BBC film.

The second weekend kicks off on May 5, and will feature Dean Blunt’s new Babyfather project, Manuel Knapp and Angel-Ho. Wrapping things up on the event’s final night are Pantha du Prince and Tim Hecker, who will both perform their new albums, as well as DJ Koze.
