With the news of a second Floorplan album hitting music press headlines back in February, Detroit luminary Robert Hood has chosen to deliver a first taste of this highly anticipated LP by releasing two singles titled “Music” and “Tell No Lie” on April 29 via his own M-Plant imprint.

The Victorious album, which sees Robert Hood returning his focus to house, disco, funk, and gospel, also marks Floorplan’s evolution as a collaborative family affair. The Detroit producer’s frequent Floorplan alias, which first appeared in the scene in the 90s, will henceforth feature his co-producer/daughter Lyric as part of the newly rebranded duo. On where the Victorious title comes from: “We live in a world filled with adversity, the key to surviving and even thriving in this era of uncertainty is knowing how to walk in victory. The truth is we are more than conquerors. We are VICTORIOUS,” as stated in a press release.

Victorious will land via M-Plant on June 17, 2016.
