Octave One Share Deep Cut From New Album, Announce US Shows
'Endustry' will drop under the duo's Random Noise Generation alias later this week.
Octave One have announced a new full-length and two US shows.
The album, Endustry, will land via the Detroit duo’s 430 West imprint and represents the first release under their Random Noise Generation alias since 2006’s Tresor LP, Off The Grid. Taking a slightly different approach to previous studio albums, Endustry was written on the road while the duo toured over the past year, as member Lawrence Burden explains:
“We were tucked away in so many hotel rooms that we decided to make sure we brought enough extra equipment so that we could set up a true lab to create from country to country and make the grooves that we wanted to experiment with on the dance floor.”
Alongside the album announce, the duo have also scheduled two US dates into their spring tour, with the first on Friday, May 25 at Analog BKNY, before they touch down in their hometown of Detroit for an appearance at a Movement after party on Sunday, May 27 at Magic Stick.
You can find Octave One’s full tour dates below, along with a stream of album cut “Alkalyze.”
Endustry can be pre-ordered here.
