Modeselektor’s Monkeytown label is set to release the third full-length album from Anstam in early fall. Originating as a duo, Anstam offered grimey dubstep and jungle-saturated techno hybrids on the Brom, Aeto, and Cree EP trilogy before the project mutated into a solo effort helmed by Lars Stöwe. Names (artwork above) is the German producer’s first release in two years, and follows from his 2012 Stones and Woods LP for 50Weapons and tours with Moderat and Thom Yorke’s Atoms for Peace last year. The album reportedly finds Anstam exploring a more artistic, sculpted approach to sound design and arrangement, described by Moderat as “neither too easy, nor too intellectual.”

Names is due out on September 26, and a video teaser for the album can be watched below, where tracklists for both CD and vinyl versions of the release have also been included.
