Arturia has announced—as of July 7—that its BeatStep Pro sequencer is available to the public.

The BeatStep Pro collectively blew minds at Musikmesse 2015 when it simultaneously sequenced eight MiniBrute, MiniBrute SE, MicroBrute, and MicroBrute SE units via its inbuilt connectivity. The BeatStep Pro is a fully assignable MIDI controller, live performance tool, and drum programmer, and features two analogue-style step sequencers. It can be connected to anything with USB, MIDI in and out, CV/Gate inputs, Clock in and out, or DIN Sync, and with its built-in clock SYNC, anything connected will stay in time. Each BeatStep Pro Project holds 16 sequences per melodic (monophonic) sequencer (SEQUENCER 1 and SEQUENCER 2) and 16 patterns for the DRUM sequencer —which gives the user over 4,000 possible combinations per Project.
