Auntie Flo Announces New Album, Theory Of Flo
The Glaswegian recording artist's latest will land on Huntleys + Palmers in November.
In November, Auntie Flo will follow up Future Rhythm Machine with Theory Of Flo, his latest full-length album.
The sprawling and hypnotic Theory Of Flo was recorded in Havana, Glasgow and London and is the Glaswegian’s “first extended musical recording and body of work.” The LP was produced in conjunction with Flo’s long-time collaborator and fellow Huntleys + Palmers mainstay Esa—who also heads up the Highlife World Series with Flo—and features a host of musicians including Richard Thair of Red Snapper, Poppy Ackroyd from Hidden Orchestra, and an array of Cuban musicians recorded by Flo on a tour in Cuba in 2014.
Boiler Room debuted lead single, “So In Love,” which can be streamed in full below and features the vocals of The Noisettes singer Shingai Shoniwa. Theory Of Flo will be officially released on November 6 on Huntleys + Palmers.
