After issuing his debut EP as Baio early last year (followed up a few months later by a free digital single), Brooklyn resident Chris Baio has remained a bit quiet on the solo front—likely due to the fact that his band Vampire Weekend has kept him considerably busy. However, Baio is now set to return later this month with a proper sophomore effort for burgeoning Australian label Future Classic. Called Mira, the forthcoming EP promises more tropical-tinged and unabashedly melancholy house tunes from Baio, with one cut in particular featuring vocals from the man himself.
