With less than a week until the May 26 release of their latest album, Eating Us, the Black Moth Super Rainbow crew has finally unrolled the promotional stops, and there are a few here from the elusive quintet.

Note this is a band that thrives on eccentricity, which this time around comes in the form of 1600 “hairy” CDs (below) that will be sold in retail locations around the U.S., as well as at the Graveface Records site.

Each disc will arrive with a download card fans can use to snag an MP3 of the “Born on a Day” demo and also enter the Hairy CD Contest. The latter will put them in the running to win either a hairy CD stand (grand prize), the Graveface Records back catalog, or a signed copy of Eating Us.

Last but not least, the band will play Chicago tonight and remain on the road through the end of July.
