London-based producer Champion (a.k.a. Reiss Hanson) is having quite the month; in addition to making his first stateside appearance courtesy of a couple Trouble & Bass parties in Philly and NYC, on June 21 and 22 respectively, he’s also releasing the highly anticipated single “Crystal Meth” via premiere grime hub Butterz on June 25. Readers might recognize the single as the scorching closer to Champion’s solid XLR8R podcast back in February, where the production actually made its debut. “Crystal Meth,” which deftly fuses the abrasive brashness of grime synths and basslines with the dancefloor-friendly rhythms of UK funky, also has a teaser video, which you can watch below.
