The man in charge of New York label-of-the-moment L.I.E.S., Ron Morelli is scheduled to appear at tomorrow’s six-year celebration for Shoreditch promoters Make Me, and has preceded his performance with a brand-new interview and mixtape for all to peruse. Morelli’s Q&A with Inverted Audio may be quick and to the point, but the well-curated mixtape takes a little bit more time to get through; its 10 tracks span lengthy productions of the noisy and dancefloor-friendly variety from the likes of Silent Servant, JTC, Legowelt, Throbbing Gristle, and The Human League, among others.
