Following the release of their second 12″ together (“The Tower” b/w “Plato’s Retreat”) as Velour earlier this year, Bristol-based producers Julio Bashmore (pictured above) and Hyetal have again combined forces on a new remix for Ekkah. Arriving in support of the UK pop-funk duo’s new Last Chance to Dance EP, Velour’s remix of the record’s title track reshapes the tune into a more dancefloor-appropriate affair, one flushed with lush chords, neon synth textures, and tweaked percussion patterns, as well as miniature slices of Ekkah’s airy vocal layers.

At this point, it is unclear if.when Velour’s “Last Chance to Dance” remix will see an official release, but for now, the Velour pair’s new rework—originally premiered by i-D Online—can be streamed in full below.
