As part of an interview with RBMA, the New York DJ/producer/vocalist—not to mention recent XLR8R podcast contributor—Kim Ann Foxman shares some of her favorite overlooked house tracks along with a recording of a recent live DJ set. While a few of these so-called “Headphone Highlights” are some of Foxman’s own earlier tunes, she does go on to unearth a few gems of the sultry and soulful house variety over the course of the interview, which—thankfully—comes in an audio version, too, allowing you to hear exactly what she’s talking about.
