Craig Richards Curates New Festival, Houghton
The event will take place in Norfolk, United Kingdom, on August 11 - 13, 2017.
Craig Richards is curating a new festival called Houghton.
The event is a collaboration between the production team behind Welsh festival Gottwood and the fabric resident (who curated the bill). It will take place in Norfolk next August, in a woody lakeside area at Houghton Hall.
Already booked in to perform are Ricardo Villalobos (who will also play alongside Max Loderbauer as Vilod), Nicolas Jaar, Floating Points, and Seth Troxler. Richards himself will spin, as well as Nicolas Lutz, Binh, Sonja Moonear, Ben UFO, and Andrew Weatherall. There will be a live show by Convextion too, amongst other things.
In an interview with Resident Advisor, Richards has stated that there will also be an emphasis on visual art, and that they will be “incorporating the existing collection at Houghton and specific commissions so the gathering will not just be music-led.”
