While 2011 saw Damu (a.k.a. Sam Schorb) release a few singles, EPs, and an LP, (not to mention being featured in both XLR8R‘s Bubblin’ Up series and podcast series), the Manchester-based producer is now set to self-release the first in a new run of singles. “If You’ve Got Nothing to Hide” b/w “You’ve Got Nothing to Fear” continues his enthusiasm for heavy bass tracks, infusing techno, acid, and house into a stomping, tornado-like beat. You can stream the tracks below and buy the MP3s here, but you’ll have to wait for the 12″ to drop, as the release date has yet to be announced.
