Resident Advisor has shared an exclusive stream of a new LP from Diamond Version, the collaborative project from Raster-Noton co-founders Alva Noto (a.k.a. Carsten Nicolai) and Byetone (a.k.a. Olaf Bender). While the scaffolding of CI (short for “Corporate Identity”) is built around techno, with the same laser precision and strobing, white-light pulse that electrifies the duo’s live performances, the album also sees Diamond Version exploring more song-like structures, incorporating vocals from Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant in the single “Were You There?” as well as from Raster-Noton affiliate Kyoka and Leslie Winer.

CI is out today via Mute and follows a five-long string of EPs issued by the London-based label since 2012. All ten tracks (listed below and titled with clipped advertising and marketing slogans) are available to stream via RA here.
