Following solid efforts from Photek and Maya Jane Coles earlier this year, !K7 is already set to release a third DJ-Kicks mix of 2012, this time from German electro duo Digitalism. As expected, Jens Moelle and ?smail Tüfekçi (a.k.a. Digitalism) follow the DJ-Kicks requirement of incorporating exclusive originals in the mix, but the duo has elected to take the tradition to another level by including eight unreleased original productions. Digitalism will be touring on the festival circuit this summer, but as part of its project “The Band Digitalism,” rather than as simply a DJ or production duo. Digitalism’s DJ-Kicks will be released on July 10, but for now, take a listen to “A New Drug,” which can be streamed or downloaded below.
