Back in January, Claude VonStroke and the rest of the Dirtybird clan announced the Dirtybird Players compilation, featuring exclusives and rarities by Dirtybird mainstays like Justin Martin, Eats Everything (pictured above), Cats ‘n Dogz, GoldFFinch, and more. Now, the Bay Area house and techno label is taking its roster of DJs and producers on the road, promising to deliver “ghetto blasters and golf carts, deck chairs and BBQ sauce,” while pushing Dirtybird’s signature gritty and raucous sound. The tour is not going to be a rapidfire series of dates, however, and will instead be a slew of globe hopping parties beginning on March 13 in Austin and ending in the UK on August 3. Incidentally, Dirtybird’s announcement follows similar global tours curated by fellow partystarting outposts Crosstown Rebels and Visionquest, so we’ve basically all got our spring and summer party plans cut out for us.
