In 2009, DJ Koze (a.k.a. Stefan Kozalla) released Reincarnations, a collection of reworks that many—XLR8R included—singled out as one of the year’s best issues. Five years on, the German producer/DJ known for his idiosyncratic approach to dance music has shared details of a follow-up remix compilation, which will see release this fall. As Resident Advisor reports, the forthcoming Reincarnations Part 2 will take on material from the likes of Caribou, Apparat, Matthew Herbert, and Moderat, and is officially due out on October 24 via Koze’s own Pampa label.
