Doc Daneeka has shared details of an upcoming EP which finds him teaming up with ascendant LA-based vocalist and producer Seven Davis Jr. Due out via Daneeka’s own Ten Thousand Yen label, From Mine to Mistress reportedly lays the groundwork for the Welsh beatmaker’s debut full-length, and brings together acid house, disco, and the R&B-flecked stylings of Seven Davis Jr. (whose P.A.R.T.Y. 12″ dropped earlier this year via Funkineven’s Apron imprint, followed by his Friends EP for the Classic imprint).
From Mine to Mistress is set to see an official release on November 10 in both 12″ vinyl and digital formats. In the meantime, EP cut “What’s It Gonna Be” has been made available to stream in full below, where we’ve also posted the upcoming record’s tracklist.
A1. What’s It Gonna Be? (Feat. Seven Davis Jr)
A2. Together
B1. Ghost Town
