After making frequent appearances on XLR8R‘s radar over the course of the last year—including the honor of being one of our picks for 2013’s best new artists—Ontarian singer/songwriter Jessy Lanza has returned with a brand-new mix for the Modular label’s Modcast series. The 34-minute session was created to kick-off Lanza’s second stint of North American tour dates, during which she will accompany Australian synth-pop virtuosos Cut Copy.

Lanza’s new mix is jam packed with an assortment of various R&B timbres and interspersed with brief touches of deep dancefloor sounds—including tracks from Bambounou, Shlohmo, DJ Sliink, Slugabed, Tokimonsta, Tink, and more.
