Over the weekend, the ceaselessly unpredictable Nicolas Jaar shared a new track via his label’s SoundCloud, credited to himself and one mysterious collaborator operating under the guise of Theatre Roosevelt, which is purported to be the NYC artist channeling the ghost of Theodore Roosevelt. Like most things Jaar, the new tune—”The Ego”—is equal parts strange, beautiful, well-crafted, and utterly enjoyable.
