Dublab Announces Broadcast Expansion
The prestigious online radio station has added fifteen new artists and a weekend series titled From The Vaults.
Having been on the air for more than sixteen years, Los Angeles-based radio station Dublab has recently announced a major broadcast expansion. Adding twenty hours of broadcast time each week and bringing in fifteen new resident DJs, Dublab will now run from 10am to 10pm PST Monday through Friday. Some of the new resident DJs include Andy Bell from the seminal British indie band Ride, ESP Institute‘s Lovefingers, Secret Circuit, and TV On The Radio‘s Tunde Adebimpe.
Serving as a sort of launching pad for countless beatmakers and DJs of the hip-hop, electronic, indie, and experimental persuasion, Dublab has bolstered numerous careers while having hosted some of today’s most respected artists. Having such an extensive history, Dublab has introduced a new weekend show titled From The Vaults. The series is “an ongoing curation project resurfacing great, rare live performances and DJ sets recorded during Dublab’s first ten years.” Recent episodes include sets from Four Tet, Flying Lotus’ “Dilla’s Still Here” Mix, Mr. Scruff, and Mu-Ziq.
