After keeping quiet in the years following his 2010 LP Pop Negro (you can revisit that record here), Barcelonan producer El Guincho (a.k.a. Pablo Díaz-Reixa) has just posted an online mix which features the artist’s first new sounds in almost three years. Entitled Trances, the streaming DJ set arrives complete with artwork by Robbie Whitehead, and appears to be made entirely of El Guincho’s latest material, which sounds like he’s shifting in the direction of house from his usual psychedelic synth-pop proclivities. You can listen to the 25-minute Trances in its entirety, here. (via FACT)
