Fabric in Discussions to Reopen
A deal may be reached with Islington Town Hall as early as next week.
fabric is in talks with Islington Council and Police about reopening.
According to the Islington Tribune, lawyers from both sides are currently in talks to work out the licensing conditions which could allow fabric to reopen. The deal could even be finalized as early as next week, if a judge at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court can give it the go ahead.
The news arrives at a crucial time. The club was intending to launch a formal appeal of its enforced closure, scheduled to go to Court on November 28. It may now be settled by an out-of-court agreement.
