Berlin-based Black Acre mainstay Fantastic Mr Fox will soon follow up his sole release from last year, “The Trap” b/w “Jackal Youth,” with another two-track 12″ for the Bristol label. “On My Own” b/w “Broke” is purportedly the DJ/producer’s “most ambitious work to date,” with London singer Denai Moore contributing her folky voice to make for a “heart break anthem with genuine emotional impact” on the a-side. B-side “Broke” is said find Fantastic Mr Fox returning to the “club smasher” format while he draws on his roots in hip-hop. Black Acre will drop the record on April 21, but before then, a brief clip of its lead track can be heard below.
