Genre-bending Brooklyn producer Fatima Al Qadiri has announced she will helm the next record released via Kingdom’s, Nguzunguzu’s, and Total Freedom’s collaborative label, Fade to Mind. Called Desert Strike (a title which was inspired by Sega’s ’92 shooter game Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf), the EP is said to boast “sparse, decisive percussion” and “melodic virtuosity” across its five productions, and is scheduled to drop on October 23.
