Following the release of her “Family” b/w “La Neta” single, Eglo staple Fatima was invited to perform in the latest installment of Resident Advisor‘s RA Sessions video series, using the opportunity to announce the official release date of her debut LP Yellow Memories. Accompanied by keyboardist Jonathan Geyevu, the London-based Swedish soul singer performs “Gave Me My Name,” a melancholy, no-frills tune that purely draws attention to her smooth and powerful voice. The original version of “Gave Me My Name” (produced by Floating Points) will feature on Fatima’s LP when it drops on May 12, according to Dummy; the song’s new live rendition can be seen in full below.
